This project began as a simple poster design where scholars wanted to combine images of immigrants from Utah history with modern-day portraits of themselves and their classmates. The scholars also wanted to try and realize a graphic representation of a sampling of Utah laws involving immigration. After brainstorming ways to make 2 different posters, the group decided to combine the two in a more 3-Dimensional format: a lenticular. This would engage people to move around and look at the photo collage and information in an active way as they view the piece from one side or the other.
